Our goal is to provide sound, data driven agronomic advice along with the highest quality laboratory services.
We are headquartered in Fresno, CA, with field offices in Hanford, CA and Davis, CA. The Dellavalle team consists of experienced certified crop advisors, certified professional agronomists, certified professional soil scientists, certified water treatment and distribution operators, field technicians, and chemists. We are here to help our clients collect, analyze, and interpret their data.
Our Laboratory specializes in soil, water and plant tissue analysis. We take pride in our quality assurance and quality control measures and strive to hold ourselves to the highest professional standards and ethics. The laboratory is Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) certified and we take part in the North American Proficiency Testing Program (NAPT).
Nat B. Dellavalle, founder of Dellavalle Laboratory, Inc., and a deeply influential figure in California agriculture, passed away on November 29, 2025.
In 1978, Nat Dellavalle, and his partners (Phil Dodd, Hugh Rathbun, Keith Backman and Kathrine Graham) founded Dellavalle Laboratory, Inc., which has grown into one of California’s premier soil, plant tissue, and water analysis laboratories. Through his leadership and commitment to scientific accuracy and economic balance, the laboratory has and will continue to help generations of farmers understand and care for their land, improving agricultural practices across the West and beyond.
Nat Dellavalle’s legacy will remain a lasting part of Dellavalle Laboratory.
